George Pavlov, Chairman George Pavlov is a general partner of Tallwood Venture Capital. George brings broad experience in venture capital, private equity, operations and technology to Tallwood. He provides guidance and support to portfolio companies and serves as the operational focal point for Tallwood.
Soren Hein Soren joined Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures in 2000. Located in Munich, Germany, he specializes in early-stage semiconductor and component companies. Previously, Soren held a number of positions with Siemens and then Infineon, most recently as Vice President of Technology and Innovation of the Wireless Components Division. Soren holds an M.Sc. from the Technical University of Denmark, a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from U.C. Berkeley, and an MBA from INSEAD in France. He is the author of several patents, technical articles and a book.
Jim Diller Jim is a member of the Venture Tech Alliance investment team. He is also Acting CEO and a board member of QuickSilver Technology. Most recently, prior to his investment management roles, he was CEO of Altos Semiconductor, a start-up company in thermal and system management, that was later acquired by Micrel. During an 18-year career at National Semiconductor, Mr. Diller held several executive positions, including Vice President of the System Products Group. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Mosaic Systems and Zenasis.
Jean-Michel Guichot Graduate of the French Business School HEC, Jean-Michel started his career in the industry and consultancy. He then served as VP Marketing, Sales & Services at Oberthur Cartes Systemes, the global leader in smart cards. He was also Managing Director of GTS-Access Services France, a telecommunication company specialized in local loops, and deputy managing Director of GTS-Omnicom. Jean-Michel currently serves also on the Board of Directors of Esterel Tehncologies and VITechnology.
Brian Derrick Brian is vice president of Corporate Marketing at Mentor Graphics. Brian joined Mentor in 1997 as the marketing manager for Calibre and was instrumental in developing and executing the strategy that has enabled Calibre to become the industry-wide standard for physical verification. He played a key role in Mentor's acquisition of OPCT Inc. in 1998 and the successful integration of that technology into the Calibre product family, which has resulted in Calibre's Resolution Enhancement products also becoming the industry standard.
Frederic Reblewski, CEO & Co-Founder Frederic is the co-founder of M2000 with OLivier Lepape. Before M2000, he was the CEO of Meta Systems he also co-founded with Olivier. After the acquisition of Meta Systems he was the General Manager of Mentor's Hardware Emulation Division where he grew the organization and delivered several successful generations of emulators.
Before Meta Systems Frederic had also co-founded Dune Technology, a start-up involved with multi-processor, Unix compatible, real time OS as well as hardware acceleration.
Before Dune, Frederic was Deputy VP of R&D at Matra Data Systems, where he was in charge of developing array processor architecures applied to artificial intelligence.
Frederic started his career at Bull Systems and worked in the development of super computer architecures.
Frederic holds a BSEE from ISEP, Paris.
Olivier Lepape , Vice President Engineering & Co-Founder Olivier is co-founder of M2000 with Frederic Reblewski. Before starting M2000, he was co-founder and Vice President of Engineering of Meta Systems, later acquired by Mentor Graphics where was in charge of all hardware and software development of ASIC emulator products.
Before Meta Systems Olivier was at Dune Technology, also a logic emulation company where he developed the first proprietary FPGA architecture based on hierarchical switching networks as well as place & route algorithms.
Olivier started his career at Matra Data Systems, then moved on the ES2 (a European ASIC foundry) where he was a custom IC designer.
Olivier holds a BSEE from Ecole Superieure d'Electricite (Supelec) de Paris and an MSEE from Stanford University.
